The Vetmarker is the ultimate multi-purpose lamb handler for all your lamb handling tasks including castration and tail docking using Numnuts®.  The Vetmarker allows all tasks to be carried out over four stages;

1. Loading & measuring – Lambs are loaded into the chute hind legs first to prevent kicking. This is where the lambs can be weighed using the Vetmarker Weigh Attachment (additional and sold separately), and their sex, tag and tail length can be recorded.
2. Marking & castration using Numnuts® – Lambs move down the chute on the rollers where the operator can mark and castrate them. The chute has an open design with minimal overhead obstructions.
3. Docking using Numnuts® – When the lambs reach the chute exit, the rest against the bars and present their tails for tailing. The chute design eliminates the need for leg hooks which helps keep the lambs calm and relaced. Castration can also be carried out and this time as some user find it easier to use Numnuts® at this stage.
4. Tipping – The operator uses the tipper handle to release the lamb, while the sprayer attachments automatically treats the breech / crutch area to prevent flystrike. Finally, the lamb lands on the ground feet-first , helping them to stay standing.
